Dear Sixth Graders,
Try and not be tardy ,because 3 tardies gets you 2 hours of detention. Make sure you know where all your classes are ,because you could end up in the wrong class room and look really stupid.

dear dr.williams,
i have alot of advice to give new sixth graders. one thing is to not go to quickly in the hallways because people will get pushed or get shuved in their lockers. And that hurts really bad its happend to me. I have gotten alot better and more careful around people. I am always telling people too be careful so the new sixth graders should be very careful and tell people to also be careful

My advice is to start studing for a test a couple of nights before the test. Check the website for your assignments. Be on time for class and bring your proper materials to class every day. Don't talk while the teacher is talking.

Middle school is a lot different from Paine. You have to get to class on time. You have more classes than you do at paine. Get ready to work and study. MOST IMPORTANLLY IS TO BE YOUR SELF.

The advice I would give upcoming 5th graders is that you dont need to freak out. i promise, you'll get your locker open and i promise you'll get to your classes. Its not that hard. You have more freedoms in middle school, but its also stricter. Dont be disrespectful to your teachers, because that will get you sent straight to the office. And watch what you wear. Dont try to cut through the 8th grade hall. You'll be trampled. And dont chew gum near Mrs. Dobbs. She can smell it from a mile away. And she can tell you the flavor. Believe me. Just have fun too. If you come into middle school with a good atittude, then you'll come out with one.

The advice I would give to the upcoming 6th graders is not to take advantage of your new privledges. Also you should really start thinking about your future, because it is a whole lot closer than you would think. Take computer in 7th or 8th grade, because that is one less class you will have to take in high school. Also, learn as much as you can now and pay attention in class.
